ABOUT BASIC HUMAN
Why Basic Human
Basic Human exists because many of us were taught - quietly and repeatedly - to override ourselves. To look outside the body for answers. To mistrust sensation, intuition, and subtle perception.
This space was created to explore another way.
A place to listen more closely to what it means to be human - to include the body, lived experience, and the many ways we sense and know. Not to narrow the conversation, but to restore what's already present.
This is not a space for fixing. It's a space for remembering.
How We Learn Here
Learning at Basic Human is not hierarchical.
There is no expert above the room, and no version of you that needs improvement in order to belong. Knowledge is not delivered here - it is explored, practiced, and lived.
Courses and gatherings are embodied and nervous-system aware, paced and non-performative, rooted in curiosity rather than outcomes. Accessible without being simplified.
You are invited to notice, feel, question, and trust your own experience. Your body is not an obstacle to learning - it is part of the intelligence.
Intuition Is Human
Intuition and subtle perception - also called the clairs - are natural human capacities. They show up through sensation, feeling, imagery, knowing, and relational awareness.
At Basic Human, this work is approached without hierarchy or mystique. Grounded, discerning, embodied. Subtle perception is something to explore - not perform, claim, or prove.
This is not about being psychic. It's about listening more fully.
Intuition here is not separated from ethics, self-trust, or responsibility. It is integrated into being human, not placed above it.
What We Value
Basic Human is guided by a few steady principles.
The body is intelligent. Experience is a valid teacher. Healing and learning are non-linear. Many ways of knowing can coexist. Gentleness creates more capacity than urgency.
These values shape how courses are taught, how community is held, and how language is used.
Who Is Holding Space?
Basic Human is founded by Isabel Lindemann.
Her background spans osteopathy, structural integration, embodied anatomy, and intuitive development - shaped as much by lived experience and ongoing inquiry as by formal training.
This space is not built around authority or identity. It is held as a facilitation - one that supports people in reconnecting with their own capacity to sense, discern, and trust themselves.
An Invitation
You are welcome here as you are.
Bring your curiosity. Bring your skepticism. Bring your sensations, questions, and lived experience.
This is a place to explore what it means to listen — to yourself, to the body, to the subtler ways information moves.
No fixing required. Just presence.
